Default question about the ZEX kit, please help

ok we put the nos a friends car, it works, but we tried it out twice, the first time we flipped it on and floored it, it didnt seem different, but then the 2nd time we tried it, we definatly felt it and knew then it was working, we went again and tried it today and the same thing happend, didnt work the first time but then went on the 2nd time, does this happen to anyone else?

What you are probably experiencing in the nitrous in the line from the bottle to the solenoid is a gas at first and it's taking some time for the liquid nitrous from the bottle to the solenoid (ZEX puple box). This is why you see guys purging there systems just before they run (the plume of nitrous shot into the air usually from the cowl area)it replaces any gas in the line with liquid N20. You don't want the nitrous turning into gas until it leaves the nozzle. First check for leaks then try putting a purge kit on like the one from NOS and I'll bet your troubles will be solved.

i have heard of the switch in the control module not working right so if there aren't any leaks it might be the switch in the purple box. so you'll have to send it to zex for them to fix it. even if you don't have a purge kit you still should feel it after like a second.

Check your lines for frost. If you see any frost, then you have a leak there. I doubt that you have a leak though. You just need a purge valve.

fastestdriver hit it right on the money. a purge kit is a great investment. but please call it nitrous, and not nos especially since hes got the zex kit
