I alwasy see people wanting the blue top injectors from DSMs. I see them on ebay for sale and here. I bought some 450 cc injectors out of a 95 awd turbo talon. At least thats what I was told they were from. Mine are black not blue, is that right? I saw somewhere that the black ones were peak and hold. Do I need to put them in Uberdata differently then the blue tops? Or do I have different injectors? I will get some pics later today of them. Thanx in advance.

 

if i remember correctly (and this is year old info)
the black dsm injectors are 440cc and the blue are 450cc
both at 40 psi of fuel pressure..
right now, i don't even remember if my 92 gsr had peak and hold or, what's the other one called, saturated?

but i'm running uberdata, and i wired in the resistors from radio shack..

They are both 450's. The 90-93 are blue top, 94-97 are black. The black ones have a little longer pintle end. They are both P&H

 

the way you can tell is that they will say 390cc, 440cc, or 450cc on the side of the injectors.

yes both are peak hold....

I believe black tops are 390cc... (correct me if i'm wrong)

 

90-94 Manual Transmission Turbo DSM's have blue tops, 95-99 manual and auto are black tops. Both are 450cc peak and hold low impedence.

 

So my 95 Talon injectors are 450cc? We got a couple different answers here. Anyone else know for sure to confirm this? I'll look again at the injectors but I didn't see any type of cc rating on them. I think just a part number. I got the whle rail and fpr with them. Can yopu use the fpr? just asking.

 

Yes they are 450cc, I work on these things every day. I doubt the fpr will work with your rail, it sucks anyway and is easily overran by a walboro in tank.
