Precision 6262 Billet wheel? Compared to?
They have done some testing on these wheels, but will not be releasing their data and feedback to the public quite yet. The rep was being political. Trust me. They've looked at them before, and will be looking at them again. This little tirade b/w the 2 companies has been going on for over 25 years.
Just rebuilding my motor 82mm gsr blox b's, 6262 .63 ar. looking for 450-500 whp DD, ill post my dyno numbers in about a month when its done.
Wanted to bump this because i dynoed yesterday and made 499whp @ 13psi with the billet 6262! Still didnt touch the cam gears or adjust timing yet!
Set-up is as follows:
2.0L LSVTEC
S2S2 Cams
Ramhorn
T4 6262
E85
More boost coming soon, i was having fuel pressure problems.

Just curious how do you figure its to big after looking at these dynos #s. Espcecially with the .63A/R. I figure (after researching similar setups), I should make my goals at 15psi on pump, and still have some room to go bigger into mid to high 5xxwhp with higher octane. What turbo would you suggest.

I know its too big because Ive used the 6262 a few times, and I know how well it performs. When you can make 800whp with that turbo, you dont need it for 500whp. I saw an Evo make about 520whp at around 18psi with a billet 5557. If you want a little more room, the 5857 would be prime. I wouldnt go any bigger though.

I have the t4 billet 6265s w/ .68 and a topmount, but on a 84mm b16. In about two to three weeks it will all be done and I'll post my dyno graph and results. I also plan on going with e85. I think my block could be the limiting factor, previously used built block.

reason i didnt got with the 6262 is because i dont have a built motor and its a bit overkill for what im looking for. 730whp. made over 500 at 6k rpm(look at graph in the middle of page 1)

499 on low low boost with bad creep, 480whp holding 13-14psi(PWM Boost controller working wonders). We didnt get to finish the tune, didnt touch cam gears or give it much timing, i ran into other problems.
anyone have an idea wat i should make with my setup??

sleeved 2.0 gsr 9.5.1 pistons
96 spec itr cams
inline dual bosch 044
id2000 injectors

they should make a new sticky about turbos-type,size,tech, and which model from competing manufacturers they compare to
cause there is just to many flavors to choose from
