My $500 turbo kit, everything cut/welded by me, retains AC & cat, only requires the usual cutting of the driver's side splash guard & removal of OEM AC fan. And yes I have a filter on it atm, but that requires PS removal (like every topmount requires regardless).

I'm remaking everything in the coming month, 4-2-1 topmount and an unusual 3" turbo-back (e-cutout right before it turns to go around the gas tank).

 

is that top mount made from the upper half of the stock manifold?

 

Yes, DX/LX 4-1 mani, was free, supplied the cat fitting, and cost a grand total of $17 with pipe/elbows/flange. Under $40 if you include the 3" DP.
