POrting tool elec and porting bits question ??
Curious guys who use electric 1/4" air grinder type tool to port. Ive seen alot of guys using electric air grinders. Ive been looking for them but no luck.
Also who sells long carbide bits online? |

FWIW:
My Bud and I have done a fair amount of porting on various motors, two and four stroke from Karts, snowmobiles, ATV's and cars. All aluminum heads. Great results. A few years back we did his GSR head and it worked quite well. Having said that, we've been using a Dremel tool with a flexshaft and a foot control. Craytex for smoothing exhaust. Stones and bits and lots of WD-40 for texturizing intake. I've used 1/4 electric grinders and prefer the Dremel for control on aluminum. Cast iron would be different. Bit sources: MSC-Direct Enco Standard Abrasives And, if I remember right, Widgets Have fun. John |

Hey john yeah i have a dremel i use for heads. But when im doing down pipes and stuff like that i like to use a bigger bit, i hate using air cause its loud and when its cold out freezes up

Yeah sorry found alot of carbide bits. Now looking for a good elec grinder.
