glad i could refresh your mem
ok heres the damn cliff notes STRAIGHT TO THE POINT FOR YOU ***here is the cylinder head ordering ( 4 3 2 1 ) ****the distributor goes like this... 3 4 1 2 |
Or just set the motor to TDC and take off the cap and see where the rotor is pointing. Then go from there.

That's called "Red Death" and means the bushing in the distributor sub-assembly is about to take a shit on you. When this wears out, it allows the shaft to wobble which sends out 'incorrect' ignition waveforms to the ECU. You can try searching for a replacement bushing/bearing but I don't know that anyone ever found one to work. Honda certainly doesn't make one - you can only get the sub-assembly from them. |
Re: pls help car won't start help asap (spoon95eg)
dude just do it already, my little diagram is right

Re: pls help car won't start help asap (EE_Chris)

Re: pls help car won't start help asap (spoon95eg)
Like I said, I know of no one that has sourced a replacement bushing/bearing, so at this point your only option is to get it from the dealer/online. So you don't need to buy a whole distributor, just the sub-assembly - the cage, if you will. You can transplant all your other stuff over to it (coil, igniter, etc).

I see you're turbo now (I thought I did in another post) - good deal. Still rockin' that P28 with a ghost in it? |
