Default please help me out

i have just installed a zex nitrous system in my stock 91 civic dx and all i have added were the zex plugs to the motor. I was wondering if a 55 shot would be safe for it the way it is at 129,xxx miles? thanks for your time

i would recommend doing a cylinder leak down test to check your engine's compression. you can get away with a 55 shot and zex plugs. if you want to be on the safe side i would look into running an ignition system and retarding your timing.

Yes, a good rule of thumb is retard the timing 2 degrees for every 50 shot. Im not sure what compression your car is, but the readings should be 10-15% within each other i believe. do a search for archived topics "compression"
