Has anybody done business with RLZ they seem to have a good setup for light duty turbocharging. I e-mailed them a few days ago and have gotten no response and was Just wondering how they were to deal with.

We build motors as well. Sleeving, custom deckplates, headwork, everything.

After looking at some of the sites listed. It seems everyone is at right around the same except the attitude racing site. http://WWW.attituderacing.com. After adding up everything came out right around 2400 for everything. I might be checking them out.

Re: Places to buy Pre-built honda engines? (94goldjungsr)

Ive had a good experience w/JG. Had my LS sleeved. My only complaint was that it took longer than quoted(standard in the Honda aftermarket, almost no matter what). It wouldve been ok, but the thing I didnt like was lack of comunication. If my customers want to know how their order is coming, they know where to reach me, and I know where to reach them, and as quickly as possible.
I sent my block to JG in late December, recieved in mid Feb. I was quoted 4 weeks, so it wasnt THAT bad. But I talked to Javier twice: once before I sent the $, and once when he called and asked for cylinder specs.
Would I do business with them again? Im not sure. The block was great quality though!

Damn, never have heard all the whore stories about JG, just never liked their products/services from the beginning... I hate the red sharpie they leave on their heads after porting, that's the worst https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmileo.gif

If you're talking about their short block special, yeah, it's a pretty good price. They can also provide sleeving for the more serious minded turbo engine, and are one of the finest places in the world to get your head ported, or cams/valvetrain for B-series VTEC. I made the reverse OBD1-OBD2 conversion harness so they could run their OBD2B EMS in a 92 DX drag shell, have talked to Brad and Howard on a couple different occaisions. Brad knows I'm a junkyard warrior, hardcore DIY, anti-aftermarket, and will never spend a thin dime with him, yet he takes time out of his day to discuss tech, engine building, and advanced combustion theory with me. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif BIG FUCKING THUMBS UP https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

I've ridden in and driven ITRswapandslow's ITR powered 98 CX, which also sports one of my conversion harnesses and almighty "P05" ECUs, before and after his RLZ cams/valvetrain was installed. Before it was an alright car, after cams/springs it had noticeable increases in power in both low and high cam. He hung dead even with a 96 FWD Eclipse @ interstate speeds when he came over last Saturday... big 16G @ 22 psig car. I was impressed, that's not too shabby for a torqueless NA Honda.
