Default Pistons, Rods, ....

I was wondering what people suggest piston and rod wise when im going to run a sc34 turbo. My goal is to get in the 300hp range. I just need some good parts at the same time not parts that will break my wallet. Also where could i get some intercooler pipping if im running a log manifold, jonnyracecar intercooler, and the sc34 turbo? Also, will DSM injectors work with that setup?

If 300 is your goal.. eagle rods will be fine and CP pistons are always a good choice for any HP level, prolly not the cheapest though.. Not sure about the IC piping.. and i would go a lil larger than the DSM 450s if you're goin into the 300 whp level.. hope that helps..

Revhard has aluminum charge pipes but as for the rest you'll have to look around

if your only looking to make around 300 why not leave it stock, spend the money on an ecu, injectors and head studs. If tuned correctly you can make 300 to 350 to the wheels and it will still be reliable.

unless your planning to up the anti in the future.

it would be nice to know what engine. 300whp can be done on a stock DOHC Vtec motor, but not as easy on an LS, but deff not nearly close to easy yet possibly impossible on a stock Single cam.

Makes a big diff dude. Elaborate more.

Relax I didnt look at his name and put 2+2 together.
I know you can make more than 300whp on that motor.Hence if you read my post I said that. I have personally done it too so i know from experience.

Well i was going to run 9:1 compression with this setup just for safety reasons or is that too low...im not sure what the future will hold though...i may boost more. But i also drive the car everyday and i don't want it to sacrifice driveability since i drive down a road with alot of stop lights and some highway. Any suggestions on that?

If your goal is only 300whp keep the 10:1 CR and u can still run pump gas.. if you plan to push a lot more power later, say in the area of 400 and up than i'd lower it to 9:1 just so u have no problem running pump gas..

And before everyone starts flaming, i know plenty of people have made 400+ or 500+ on pump gas, but when you start goin up that high, its pushin the limits of pump gas without detonation..
