Default Piecing together an exhaust , help

I am putting a Jackson Racing Supercharger on my car soon and was looking to maybe upgrade my exhaust. I have DC Sports 4-2-1 headers which i believe end in 2.25 inches. I have the stock cat which leads into 2.25 inch piping that is hand/crush bent from the cat back and ends in a Magnaflow universal Muffler. Here are my possible solutions

Solutions
1.Replace crush bent 2.25inch piping with same 2.25inch Mandrel bent piping and connect it to my universal muffler.

2.Replace crush bent 2.25inch piping with 2.5 inch Mandrel bent piping and connect it to my universal muffler.

Now if I wanted to buy an Apexi' WS2 60mm (2.36inch) universal muffler. How would I connect it to the 2.5 inch piping if it is even worth it since my header is 2.25inch? And which of these would bring me the best gains?
