Thanks, but it's not finished yet. The inside of the housing is like a mirror now and all other parts will be polished. All bearings, seals and gaskets will be replaced.

looks great. it looks horrible how it was painted from what i've heard, the teflon coating is very beneficial to the blower.

It is not realy difficult, but a lot of work. The rotors takes 3 hours with a Scotch Brite.

The problem is that you can't take off a lot of material, we only take off about or less than 0.1 mm from the housing and the rotors, so everything should be inside the tolerances.

Glass or sand blasting is also not the best idea, you get tiny dents in the surface, so we used "plastic *****".

I will make them from gasket sheets.

Btw: There were no gaskets between the SC parts when i received them.

god it looks a million times bette rthan it did before. since that is a 3rd gen blower I would definetly recoat the rotors. the reason for that is right now the clearance is huge and the blower will be less efficient at lower boost levels. when it is coated the clearance will be tighter and the blower will be more efficient.

I think I'll just take the easy way out and send my S/C to either Endyn or Jackson for the rebuild...this looks like there are too many areas to screw up in when you are sanding down the rotors...

if you send your SC to endyn your a idiot. nothing they can do to your blower will offset the money they charge you. ask around and you will find out the easy way

I've seen the work they do, and they charge about the same as Jackson racing does for rebuild, so why am i an idiot? Have you ever seen an Endyn head or anything they have done?
