is it allright to spray paint intercoolers?

 

There is a lot of debate on this topic, but from my personal experince I have had no problems with my painted intercooler, 20x8x3 lightly misted with several coats of flat black Krylon and the outlet side feels about the ambient temp after a hard boost pull.

MO, i'd go with the annodized

 

this has been covered like a zillion times. you wont lose HP by painting it. I datalogged before AND after painting my I/C .. there was absolutely NO difference in intake air temps

 

Use radiator paint and spray it lightly.

 

Just spray the front surface of the intercooler and you wont have any problems. All the heat transfer occurs in the depth of the core, not the face.
