Overheating Problem w/ hot weather

Default Overheating Problem w/ hot weather

I have 99 si b16a2 turbo overheating when i turn on the a/c.

It never overheat in when i don't turn it on.
But its getting hot now and i turn it on it over heats.. ...

i have slim fan 10" on both the radiator and a/c condensor.

Anybody have this problem?

What rad. are you using? Plus you most likely need a better fan that pulls enough cfm to keep the heat out. There is other things vent the hood, oil cooler and turbo blanket/wrap.

May need a bigger/newer radiator. I had a similar problem in my old 91 Integra. Since the engine bay is so cramped with a turbo, things really heated up in there.

What kind is best?

What is the cheapest radiator out there? (prefer)

The Mishimoto's are good, Koyo's are good but they are a bit high, Fluidyne radiators are good also but are a bit pricey.

your real problem is with your slim fan. you NEED a shrouded fan.

so i need a stock a/c fan? i can't use this slim fan.

that defeats the purpose of a slim fan

Is it that time of year already? I figured I wouldn't see these threads for a few more months.

SPAL fan, make a shroud if possible. Most of honda-tech should agree.
