Order or putting on a turbo?

Hey, my friend was telling me if i do the whole shebang, that i should the intake, etc first THEN put on the turbo last because i'll get more power if the turbo is the last thing? is this true, and why?

i woudl suggest doign a little research on how turbos work before you get yourself into this
