opinions on mr.gasket multi stackable head gaskets?
if they're anything like the mr gasket header gaskets i'd avoid em. it blew out in only 3000 miles! OEM all the way!
I was interested in that gasket too after I saw an ad in a magazine for it. So I called the info line in the ad and was given a number to call based on my area code, every thing is automated up to this point. I call the number and a young lady picks up the phone and says " Hello? " Huh?
Me; "Hi, who have I reached?"
Girl; "um, Kragen Auto."
Me; " I am calling about the Mr. Gasket stackable gaskets I saw in an ad, I was given this number."
Girl; "do you have a part number?"
Me; " no "
Girl; "Well I only have the accessorys catalouge, I can't look up anything like that. "
Me; " Oh, ok. Have a good day. "
WTF!?
Rediculous. This is how the company has chosen to represent its products. Forget that negligence. So without actually saying anything about the product its self because I don't know anything about it, I will say that I will not even be a potential customer.

You should never reuse gaskets. Some people do, but Im the kind of person that never likes to reuse anything after the seal has been broken.
