open turbo
i need to go pick up a filter for my turbo tomorrow ,but it is raining and i have no filter on it its just open. would it hurt it to drive it like 15-20miles to go pick up the filter and put it on.
it depends, are YOU comfortable driving your car to get one, if the filter is in good location you probably wont have a problem, probably.
But who knows, someone could toss a rock from a tire and it could bounce, and get sucked up in the turbo through the most impossible way.
if it were me, i would drive there and not worry about it... just dont haul *** and tailgate people along the way.

Or you can use the Home depot screen/w clamp, its my temporary solution until i get the spal slimline
The inlineprio manifold, sc34 combo left my turbo angled a little toward the stock fan leaving absolutely no room for a filter setup
