Default Old Noob needing boost advice.....

What up guys .... i just purchased a Greddy kit for a 99 Si.(TDO5H-18G) I orderd the intercooler as well. The provided kit does not come with a blow off valve. I have been digging thru the threads but have failed to find any info on whether a steel or aluminum is easier to install. The steel one would require a Mig...wont it burn the intercooler piping up quick? I means its just aluminum. I am under the assumption that it is to be placed relativly close to the intake. I like the Tial....but am leaning towards the greddy just to save grace and go under the premise that they have at least engineered it to work wth their kit. This is my daily driver that i am wanting to pep up. Not make a 400 horse monster. I still have to cart the kids and get groceries in it. Any insight would be beneficial.

well if the i.c. piping is aluminum, you need an aluminum flange. you cant weld steel to aluminum.
