I have a turbo'd d16y8 with obd2 to obd1 conversion.

I took off the hoses that connect to the evap purge valve solenoid....and capped them with screws.

So now, instead of the gas vapours going to the charcoal canister and then to the intake manifold.........the vapours will just sit in the charcoal canister.
My idle and throttle response has improved quite a bit.

I just want to know if this will be okay.

you should of left it hooked up because the obd1 ecu doesnt read those sensors.
