Default Ok, Hondata stage 3 hack---will it work??

Ok, so Im ordering my 3B tomorrow right. Im sitting here all excited about the extra accessories given from the stage 2. Full throttle shift and the launch control. Well Im thinking what's missing? It came to me that it should include an extra stage (basically what the redline, launch control and full throttle shift are) that should be used when doing your burnout.
This is what I came up with, now tell me if you think it'll work:

Basically since our cars are FWD and we pull the ebrake for our burnout.
What I'm thinking is wire up a relay that is activated by the ebrake light/switch found on the ebrake assembly.
Now wire that relay so that the hondata supplied clutch switch (launch control) runs through that relay. Bam! Instant burn out rpm limiter. BUT the only thing is that it will limit the rpms the same as your launch control. Probably not good for the street tire drag racer but great for the slick user.

What do you guys think? It should work. Am I just being lazy and just heat up the tires with using various rpms or would this be helpful?

Sorry, I have been thinking about this for like the past 2 weeks and figured I would share with you guys........

Sounds like it will work.

The rev limit you program will need to be the full throttle shift rev limit for the burnout, as the wheels on the car will be moving - so the burnout rev limit will be the same as the full throttle shift limit - about 6000 rpm.

You should not need a relay, just wire the handbrake switch in parallel across the clutch switch.

Sounds like it will be really simple to wire in.

Oh, so I could wire it to be the full throttle shift rev limit---makes better sense. Cool Im definetly gonna try it then, that is when I get the 3B. As always I will let everyone know how it goes.

I'm wondering, why is it better to do your burnout at 6krpm vs. 8krpm or wherever your normal redline is? Isn't it all the same if you're bouncing off the rev limiter?
