oil return line scraping the ground

Default oil return line scraping the ground

i got a boosted integra and its pretty low. my oil return line is scraping the ground while i'm driving, is there anyway i can prevent that from happening other than raising up the car?

just return line? what about oil pan as it sits lower than return fitting?

my return line sits lower than my oil pan. i can't shorten it because then it wont reach the turbo. intercooler piping is in the way.

how is oil actually getting back into ur oil pan then? pictures?

yeah I want to see pics of this also...... sounds like you need to get creative with the line and not run it under the IC piping to were it is scraping the ground

heres a pic of it. i wrapped it with some heat wrap so it wouldnt scrape the actual line but that didnt seem to work.

HOLY **** dude...... yeah I am surprised you are just now running into issues with that..... you need to definatly reroute your return line

Can you get anymore pics than that so we can atleast help you solve your problem?

funny someone pointed out F&F

in the first movie, in one of the first scenes where Brian goes to the illegal street races, you see a low shot of the mistu, you can see his SS fuel/nitrous or oil return line dragging on the ground, worse than this guys.

Good build from the guys in the movies!!

You never know whats on the road man that would be too late to avoid if you didnt notice them. Old exhaust pipe some radial truck tire or a super hornet hook....
