oil pump modifications?

oil pump modifications?

anyone modify there oil pumps for more pressure? I know it can be done but I am not sure how its done or of any problems associated with doing so.

I know KMS does oil pump shimming. Don't know how well it works though.

Shimming puts more of a load on the pump gears and is not really necessary. The b18c pump flows pretty good as is.
