so heres my problem i was going about 80mph put it in 4th and hit WOT pulled like normal put it in 5th and it sounded like a WRX. so i pulled over opened the hood a there was oil every where.number 2 cylinder is died. the weird thing is when it revs above 5k it sounds normal. also it smokes like crazy.

you most likely blew a hole in the block.

 

no hole in the block i checked.

 

same thing happend to me exactly, turned out i melted number 3 piston. good luck...

for me it was a mixture of a few things but its usually the tune...

 

cracked sleeve maybe.

Build a B and B happy! Sorry to hear about you motor. Pics of carnage are a must though. It's all in the tune.

 

finally got some time to take the engine apart. i melted a piston...
