Sorry this may be a dumb question and I'm sure it has been asked before but is it only needed if you dont have the box on the back of the motor or is it just to upgrade and replace for safety. Sorry I dont know much about them and I am wondering if it is something I should be investing in to keep my motor safe. Thanks!
