Default Nissan Guys..

Im curious as to why the sr20det swap into the S chassis' are more popular than the rb20det swaps? I know its a smaller 6 but shouldnt it have more potential? and what sthe bore and stroke compared to the sr?

Bore x Stroke on the RB20DET's are 78mm x 68.7mm, it's not a very good motor. Head flow isn't great, internal parts are weak, has problems with oil/water pumps, and generally just isn't great. An RB25DET is a great alternative, out of all my friends with GTS-T's most of them have swapped to RB25's because they're so much better. The one that hasn't is making 270 RWHP out of his RB20DET with a bigger turbo and 15 psi, and it's pretty weak.
