Default Need some help from tuners or engine buliders

I've been building engine for many years and every thing u can name but i cant seem where to point the finger on this one .. heres the info ..

its a H motor car was on a good ok tune but was very rich 11.5-10.8 air/fuel
reving to 7500 rpms .. 15psi made 440whp on that very rich tune
I looked at his hondata map timing was around 25dreg on 110 octane

i pulled the engine apart for him just to check every thing out for the new season still ran fine before pulled . bearing looked good and all so i pull the rods out and look what i find (pics under).. all 4 rods bend oddy .. there IB rods I beam..
so now what im asking is do u think it was the cheap rods or the tune. I trying to figg out what to do since he needs new rods , its a h23 crank so theres not many rods out there crower or these and he do not want to spend the money on crower if he do not have to... let me know yah thoughts

Look at the small-end bushing, wrist pin, and conrod bearings. If they are scuffed or show signs of contact with the crank, then I wouldn't rule out the tune.

looks like it was just too much power for the rods which led to them bending which effectively led to lower compression...

id go with a better rod so this doesnt happen again...

any signs of detonation on the bearings or pistons, combustion chamber or spark plugs?

Ahh i gotcha. Yea i just asked him about it. Sounded similar because he had that headgasket issue and made similar power.

even all motor rods would hold 400whp.. how long has he ran the car, crank walk?? thrust washers were still in when u pulled the crank?

yeh i thought crank walk to when i 1st seen it . but thrust washers were still in there and all .. i have used these rods before on a 500whp b18c .. but i know they have a better rod to stroke ratio

something like that.. went from a 2.5inch downpipe to a 3 inch didnt touch the boost controller and did it by it self

the 2.5 had a nasty bend at the turbo tho ... thats why the 3inch free'd up so much more .. i been telling him we need to get back on the dyno or buy a wideband since we dont know how much more power that free'd up .. so it could be lil leaner at the same boost .. but its not my call or car

yea man i agree. It could very well be lean if the larger exhaust is causing it to creep that much more on boost.
