Default Need help with a turbo and sizing

I'm doing a budget build. I have a 94 integra Rs with a stock motor. I recently picked up a full-race turbo kit from a friend for $1,000 and it came with a t3/t67 turbo but the turbo is blown my question is it worth having rebuilt or buying a new one.And is that to big of a turbo for a stock setup

It's a daily. The kit has 1,000 cc injectors also. I have a competion stage 5 clutch kit for a b20 I'm putting together with parts I got from friends. I'm also working with a budget of about $2,500 right now

^ that all depends on if its bb or journal bearing. if its bb the op will need to buy a new chra which will cost almost the same as a new turbo.

to the op, what damage is done to the turbo and is it bb or journal bearing?

It's a non ball bearing. And idk why the turbo is blown that's just what I was told they said it was running fine because it made 702 whp on my friend 94 civic 4 door. I just don't know why it don't push any boost.

What boost pressure were you at with the 702?

That's almost at its limit regardless for the T3/T67. It was starting to revert and was already past hypersonic speeds. Either repair it, or time to upgrade. They are good to about 750 crank hp.

I would have the turbo rebuilt and till u build the motor just keep it under 260hp and just have fun. Ya the 1kcc are big for now but with the right tuner he can make it very drivable and still have good mpg.
