Default need help on turbo rebuild

i guess after inspecting my turbo again, i do have to rebuild. There isn't much axial play with the shaft, but there is quite a bit of lateral play. I'd say about 1/2mm... i guess that's why i had a weird turbo screeching sound when i accelerated. I've also noticed there is a nice layer of soot over my exhaust, a nice bluish tint....

quesion is, i have a turbonetics T3/4 turbo, H-3 trim, Stage III, .48/.63 housing... does anyone know where to get this rebuilt, i live in the los angeles area. Local would be great, but if i have to ship it out, i will do that. Thanks

Buy the rebuild kit from Turbonetics and do it yourself, about $80. If your wheels are in good shape and you don't have it rebalanced, be sure to scribe the axle before you take the compressor wheel off so you can put it back on in the same angular position. Turbonetics is in Simi Valley you could drive there and get the kit same day.
