Need Help - Got Wrong size turbo ---- Round 2
Just and update. Finally got the correct turbo.
One question, Is 2.25" piping large enough for my setup? its 2" before intercooler and 2.25" after that..
thanks
----------------------
First, I order T04B 50 Trim with .48 a/r Stage 2 wheel
I get T04E with .63 Stage a/r 3 wheel
So, I send it back
I get T04B 50 Trim with .48 a/r Stage 1 wheel - Not good.
My setup, I want to run 4.5-5psi on stock type r motor and looking for mid-top end. Is Stage 1 wheel is too small for my setup - Should I send it back again?
Some specs on turbine wheels:
STANDARD - 1.898" (Exducer Diameter) 2.319" (Major Diameter)
STAGE II - 2.122" (Exducer Diameter) 2.559" (Major Diameter)

Damn, what seller are you dealing with that has such issues getting you the right turbo? I'd just ask for a refund and go somewhere that knows what the hell they're doing......

)...who knows what else?
manufacturer is revhard.. the dealer i ordered the kit through made the right order, but revhard messed it up twice.. i'm trying to be patient about this - and i don't want to refund the kit unless i can get refund on the turbo and buy it from somewhere else.. - and i doubt that.

should have kept this:
T04E with .63 Stage a/r 3 wheel
But it's too late now, so keep sending back till you get what you want.

here's a funny thing I think can relate to this...
stage1 wheel=girl
stage3 wheel=woman
would you rather go out with a girl or a woman?
the girl can do it, but the woman will do it the way you want it

Although, sometimes the girl is fun to smack around...lol..j/k
Something isn't right with your trim selections, T04B are all Letter for their trim, ie.. S trim, V trim, Super V trim, H trim etc etc, only numbers is 60-1 and 62-1 are still in the B family, T04E are all number trim as you stated 50trim, 57trim, 60 trim etc etc, The wheel stages are correct but someone has the Compressor wheels all wrong. Just FYI, if I'm wrongplease direct me to where I need to go for that info.
Heres the Compressor sheel options....

Unless they are machining the T04B Compressor housing to fit an E wheel in it which I've heard of companies doing for space limitations. HTH
