Default Natrium filled valves

Whats up with natrium filled valves. I have heard these babys are excelent for heat. Why is no one running such valves on this board?

sodium filled valves are excellent for high heat applications

i haven't seen any info on sodium filled valves for honda apps
maybe someone more knowledable can enlighten?

I am sure you could get something custom or from another application to work, but they are not cheap either way.

The sodium filled that is... but what not expensive these days anyways.

stock honda exhaust valves are sodium filled, hence their high cost.

realy? Are you sure? The exhaust valves are not sooo much expensiver tah the intakes.

I think you guys are referring to Talcum filled valves. The talcum inside the valves liquifies when the engine is hot to help cool the valve down. Though this seems like a good idea it is mostly used on heavy duty engines such as tractor trailers and such. These valves are prone to more engine damage as they have been known to explode when temperatures rise above normal.
