Hey everyone, I got my first eg hatch because I was researching them and I started working on mine right away. I had a stock b18 and was going to turbo right away but I found out that was a dumb idea. Instead I'm building it. So far this is what I have:

B16 type r head polished
B18b ls block
Ferrea valve springs and retainers
Skunk 2 pro cam shafts*
Skunk 2 pro cam gears
Type R intake manifold
Ported Type R throttle body
Eagle H beam ls rods
SRP pistons
King piston rings
AEM Fuel injector rail
Precision 780cc injectors
Resistor box
Type R oil pump
Vtec water pump*
Type R timing belt
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump


I'm going to put a decent size turbo on it and dyno tune it at Central Florida Turbo on Hondata.

It will be my daily driver so can anyone tell me how many PSI I should push and estimate what gas mileage I'll get if I drive conservatively?

I didn't buy this and do it to drive it on a track everyday, it's just for fun.

If anyone has and comments on parts I shouldn't gotten please let me know and please let me know opinions about my build good or bad!!

about your tune... if you can make it to clearwater, fl, look up johnny adams @ Adam's automotive... he tuned my car and did an amazing job... was $250 for 17 dyno runs, 11 hours of dyno and street tuning and he treats you like family and your car like it was his own

 

Thanks!!! That sounds like an amazing deal but I'm getting it towed and that's pretty pricey and cft is right down the street from me.

btw, what are your hp goals? which hondata are you using?
