Default msd ignition worth installing?

I have a msd sci, blaster ss coil and cap laying around. My question is for the people that have them installed on their own cars, is it worth the time to install the ignition. Did you notice better responce from the motor or improvement in other areas, please share!

here is my set up:

Drag mani
tial wastegate 38mm (8psi)
garrett t3/to4e
afc hack
thermal exhaust
2.5 inch dp with test pipe

althought my car is not F/I, I did notice faster starts, and improved throttle response after I installed a MSD 6AL ignition and coil.

My car is boosted and I did notice a difference.. It only takes about an hour to hook it up and get it working..

Youll hear a difference when the car is idleing also.. It sounds deeper.. It can only help since your now burning all the fuel in the cylinders by firing the plugs multiple times.. Also helps alot to get a good set of plug wires.. Im using the msd 8.5 wires and they work great..

I'v heard something about the btm doesnt work correctly with the afc hack but thats just hear say.... I would just save up and get an AEM EMS and be done with it.. Thats all the tuning youll ever need in one box.. Plug has lots of extra cool features that come in handy..

I didnt notice much difference with my 6al at all. I read in previous threads that our stock ignitions were able to handle at least 300hp. I just decided to remove it and get some cash back for more parts

I had a msd 6a, blaster SS and msd cap on my turbo hatch. The msd 6a went out within 2 months, ever since then i've just been running with the external coil. From what I heard the 6a/sci/etc really doesn't help that much, but that the coil is what really helps to provide a more powerful spark. Especially when you consider that you run ignitor-6a-coil-dizzy, the 6a really is just acting like an ignitor.
