hi peeps.....need help newbie here!!!!.....my ride is civic sohc 98 ek sedan...... i think its stock engine is D16Y8 (hope im right!) ......simple mods I/H/E.......and im planning to get a MSD 6300......juz wana know how it works, what is all about and if its a stand alone system or other stuff comes along with it??????? tnx

 

If you are not planning any kind of forced induction it probably wont help much. It will basically just deliver a better spark.

Stick with the stock ignition system. Especially with your setup.

Worry about an ignition when you eclipse the 400+hp mark.
