One of the CRX guys did it. He used the CBR900 muffler on a SOHC engine. The muffler can obviously flow a bit since that engine spins to 12k or so. However, it is made for a 1000cc ish engine.
I believe he said that it worked pretty good, but that it was loud.

It will be VERY loud... It will sound like a supertrapp kinda...
The old DC Sport Race header was a 4-1 header with a motorcycle muffler at the bottom... made good power, but was LOUD AS ****

yea very loud!!!
I used to have an Apex'i n1, the little cansiter guy, that thing was so freaking loud, I would literally scare people somtimes taking off from a light.
I image the motorbike muffler would be even louder than that!!!!!!!!!
