Is it leaking from the gasket or the weap hole?
If it's from the gasket just drain the coolant, replace the gasket and call it a day. Or throw in some radiator stop leak and run it a bit.

it's the pipe that goes accross the back of the motor. its leaking where it connects to the block by the waterpump.
you saying there is a gasket it there. i replaced the water pump and the water pump gasket. is there something else.

had a bad oring on mine once. on my engine (f22b2), I had to unbolt the intake manifold and pull it back, also had to take off one or two bolts holding the pipe on. Put new o-rings on, done.

you should be able to pull that pipe out easily if you still have the head off........with the head and IM on it will take some effort to remove that pipe......
good luck.
good luck.

yes just remove the themostat housing that connects to the pipe and block(on the left in your pic)..pull the pipe out, replace the O ring/s put a little grease on them or soap or they will slip out of place when u try to put the pipe back in..bolt back up... done

the head and intake manifold is on
i guess i could remove the intake manifold , but i would really like to leave the head on since it's already on and timing is set.
what about the flarred end?

ok so remove the thermostat housing. there are not bolts for the other side correct ?
just pull that sucka out, replace with new o-ring, and slide it back in. bolt thermostat housing back on.
does that sound right.

There also should be one bolt holding the water pipe to the block... Also, if you want you can remove the pipe from underneath the car if you don't want to take the IM back off... Much easier from above though...

what motor would that be? i have 2 tore down GSRs and a b16 in my garage right now and none have a bolt for the pipe...plus ive done it before and never had a bolt on the pipe...

Well than I apologize... I work with H/F-Series motors and they all have a bolt that holds the pipe against the block... Maybe because the H/F pipes are bigger...

Yup, only two bolts on the thermostat housing, and then it will come off.

it can only leak from the water pump oir the thermostat housing
if its the bacl of the pump, theres a O ring in there... drain coolant, remove the thermo hosuing with the two bolts there i s there, and pull the pipe back, replace o ring, make sure all surfaces are super clean, just just a bit or vaseline so it doesnt comes off when inserting it and place it back and tighten it
no biggy

wow,
it came right out. alot easier then i thought. the o-ring is trashed on it. that is for sure the problem.
if only honda parts were open today for the o-ring
thanks for the help
