LUCAS injectors
Whats up guys..I will be upgrading to 440 injectors and running hondata in the near future. My question however is, in order to run the LUCAS injectors, what will be needed to be done in order for me to run them on my motor. Are they direct fit just like the RC's with only the need of OBDI injector clips? Whats all involved guys...Already did a search, but I ran across some people saying there "maybe" modifications involved. Can anybody help me out?

I run 720cc Lucas injectors in my stock rail and I did not need any modifications to the rail or O rings. If your injectors are saturated all you need is the OBDI clips. If you have peak and hold injectors you will need the OBDI clips and Resistor pack. Hope that helps.
sweet..so as far as installing, running, and tuning them; is it safe to say that they are the same as RC injectors? Heck..some people may even argue that RC and LUCAS are the same exact thing, but i remember someone saying something about how RC calibrates their spray pattern differently....can anyone enlighten me on this? How or why the different spray pattern matters?

They are the same. RC buys Lucas injectors and slaps their label on them. They are basically all the same as Siemen Deka, CP, Precision. They are all a disk type injector unlike the DSM pintle cap style injectors.

the injectors don't need to be modded to fit it's usually the o-ring thats on th IM has to be dremmeled a little for the injector to fit.

Thats exactly what i was trying to find out....so unlike the RC injectors, with the Lucas injectors, I'd have to "modify" my fuel rail or the injectors. Modify as in dremel the the rail or the injectors inorder to use them.

My Lucas 720cc injectors fit in snug. I made no modifications to anything. The orings fit and the Seal rings worked fine. I can't see how a 440cc injector would have to be modified and 720's wouldn't
Why not figure it out when you get them.

Well, knowing how the RC's don't need any dremeling.....i was wanting to see if the LUCAS injectors needed any dremeling...and if it is true that no dremeling is needed for the LUCAS injectors, it is obvious that the LUCAS injectors is a better deal at only 225 brand new...as opposed to paying 275 for some brand new RCs

P.S. I haven't bought any injectors yet
