Default ls vtec or ls turbo

So I'm stuck, I can either do an ls vtec swap or turbo my ls and Save money to build a block while running low boost.
righ now I would be fine with anything over 200hp not looking for huge numbers just something fun. As a college student money is scarce so opinions and suggestions welcomed!

Regular fuel will be just fine on low boost.

If your LS is healthy then just boost it. It's an easy task to make 250+ on a simple t3/t04e 57 trim turbo and a log manifold. I ran mine for a year making 260whp beating the snot out of it until I was able to finish my built gsr.
make sure you do ARP head studs if boosting the LS.

boost the ls and build on the side. Get to save money on fuel. Only have the power when you need it.

Your asking in a FORCED INDUCTION forum if you should go n/a or boost.....
hmmmm guess what answer your going to receive?

Ask this same question is the all motor section and you would get the opposite reaction.

Either way a boosted LS is the cheapest power you can get and a great option.

My ls 57 trim 300whp has been fine for 2.5 years. Only upgrade to the motor is arp headstuds. Reasonable cheap and fun setup. I daily drive it with no problems.
