LS Vtec head gasket???????
ive heard that the ls vtec head gasket is thicker than the ls head gasket and if you put the vtec one on the regular ls it will lower compression a little bit lol is this true???......lol
there is no "LSvtec" head gasket. there is the LS head gasket, and B series Vtec head gasket. They are all 3 layer and i beleive the same thickness. dont hold me to that but i dont forsee anything making them drastically different.

no need to apologize dude. just wanted to make sure we didn't misinform anyone. You can do it with the LS headgasket, but GE explains in good detail why they select the vtec HG. Either way a great link to some good info. A good read for anyone doing LS/Vtec's
Back when LS/VTECS first got big, it was stated to use the LS headgasket. Thats what I used to run 10 years ago on them. Now they say use the VTEC for cooling purposes. Its safe to use both and you can use and LS timing belt and water pump if you want. I have ran them both ways and never had a problem and they were boosted also. Also use the water pump that matches the timing belt
