i am sure there is info out there about ls vtec builds but i can not find a good thread and needed some suggestions and help. i have a b18b1 head and block out of a 95 teg ls that is rebuilt- a d16y8 complete block and head and i am extremely tempted to buy a b18c head to make the b1 an ls/ vtec. i am planning to run a garrett to4e turbo in either a 92-95 hatch or civic 4 door. what engine should i build and use... im not worried about money at this point just honest suggestions.. if i do make an lsvtec what parts do i need? i know wiring harness vtec soleniod. and oil pump.. but what about dizzy?

 

building the ls vtec would be the better build.. you need a complete vtec head. dizzy and all. you have to do a lil more reading and look some more things up before you go building. google it and see what you find.

 

you can buy the golden eagle ls vtec conversion kit to make your build a lil easier seeing that you arent sure how to.

 

use ur stock harness

 

Make sure you pull the block apart and replace your bearings if you go vtec.
