Default ls going turbo question

I have a 95 ls teg, that is all stock. Dont even have an intake system. I'm going to make it turbo. It is my only car so it has to be a street set up, with 8 pounds of boost max. I already have the turbo manifold, which is good for a t3 or t4. Also I'm planning to use stock internals. Can you recomend me what size, and type of turbo to use? Is the stock fuel system with an FMU added enough for this kind of set up? What size of intercooler should I use??
Thanks

If you are not planing to run that much boost (under 20 psi) I would say that a 14b would be a good choice. They are cheap, a good used one can be purchased for under $200. They are from the 1g dsm's.

Also if your looking for a cheap intercooler, a dsm sidemount is a good bet. If you know someone you could probably get one for under $50. Front mounts are much more effiecient...but are much more expensive.

personally I am goind with a Apexi SAFC, resitor box, walbro 190lph fuel pump, and 450cc dsm injectors, but there are a multitude of different fuel set ups. The best guide to choising one is hours and hours of research H-T has plenty of good threads...so do your reading

Dont even have an intake system.
I hope you mean you don't have an aftermarket intake. Driving without an intake is not good.

If you want to make decent power, dont get the .48 or smaller
