Default Log mani's vs. Equal length mani's.

I don't get it, what's the worth to constitute the difference in price. I take it that an equal length is better, but why?

I did a search, but nothing came about from it.
THanks.

Equal long-radius bends result in equal frictional flow coefficients, balancing flows from runner to runner.
Low angle merge collector designs minimize collector fluid friction.

It really depends on what your goals are. I have seen a lot of power on both. Some of you may be supriesed the power that can be made from a decent log.
