What exactly is the concern? Are you worried that lighter wheels don't provide as much traction?

he's worried it won't hook as well.

lighter wheels = less inertia = faster. Control of the power comes down to the driver and traction control systems.

perhaps you should look into a racelogic

Perhaps he should look into learning how to drive

I have no trouble daily driving 430+ WHP on street tires.

traction contoll would be nice, but last i checked they were pretty expensive. for now, the only traction control i have is somewhere between my brain and my right foot.

my concern is that the with the extra power on the wheels it may cause me too wheelspin alot more than what bigger wheels wud and the wheels are lighter too bcos from what i know with boosted vtecs theres alot of wheelspin?
or am i wrong and the 15" light weights shud b ok
thanks for your time

speaking from personal experience... i rode on 15" gsr rims with dunlop sp sport fm901 tires, i was hitting 2.4 second 60 foot times... with a quarter mile in the low 14's.

then i rode on 15" honda rims (don't know from what year or what car) about the same weight as the gsr rims with yokohama advan competition tires, and i hit 13's, with a 60 foot of 2.198...

both the gsr rims and the honda rims are pretty light, the gsr rims are the swipe type rims...

o yea, i have a 95 turbocharged integra ls, and yea i do have problems with wheel hop and tire spin sometimes...

honestly, i'd say get the rims... as for traction... invest in some sticky tires... i currently have a post on which tire everyone reccomends... here you can check it out here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=919328

another thing that has helped me are motor mount inserts from prothane...

hope this helps you!!! need to get that power to the ground

yup, cheeseball tires with huge treadware don't hook up worth a damn.

So just forget the light wheels and get some like the ones in your avatar if you want traction . Insert sarcasm

Lightweight wheels are only going to help, just get some Drag radials and learn to drive and you"ll be set
