Also look at how much i had to grind off of the block to make this thing fit!!!!!!

It spools SO fast!! I was very surprised at the spool up from this turbo, since only being a STOCK bore 1.6L SOHC!!!

LOL

Nice! I am looking to upgrade from my 60 trim off a turbo coupe. Also getting some valves, valve springs and retains and a newer cam.

Is that a T-66? Any idea what your volumetric effiency is? I'm sure you'd get a high enough VE with a little N20, but aside from that I'd be concerned.

all this D series hype(and torque!) has got me 2nd guessing the H22 in my del Sol project...
I keep thinking why bother w/the H22? The parts are a dime a dozen, pop one, Ive got 4 more in my shop(seriously!), and w/solid internals, itll be less likely to pop.
Good luck man, hope that manifold doesnt creep too badly!

I would probably consider changing to a better manifold because of the high likelihood of creep espcially with that large of a turbo, but other than that it looks great!

I am not to concerned with creep as this manifold has never gave me any issues.

As for the comment about the D15, all i did was buy internals for a D16z6

What was the setup as far as the turbo, WG, and DP that you used before and had no problems?

I must say that I am a bit surprised that you did not have problems, did you EVER see any boost spiking at all or was it just on the minor side?

P.S. That would be the DRAG cast manifold.
