just got tuned, but...
Man, you are really embarrassing yourself. Why do you not want the person who you PAID to perform a service follow through on the service? You have every right to complain. Otherwise please seek a diagnosis for your mental illness because this thread is troubling.
If you don't have Vtec just check to see if you have power to your vtec solenoid. Use a light bulb or something. Or just have someone put there hand on it while you rev, it should click or something when it switches. If not, check for power.
If no power, get ahold of your tuner asap to resolve the issue. If you do have power when vtec is sup to engage then the solenoid is bad. Get a new one.

I don't even know why you are asking these questions, you have a built and turbocharged engine and you can't figure out if vtec is engaging? How will you even be able to maintain your car in the event anything happens?
This isn't an online repair shop man, take it to someone who can visibly see the car and have them check it. Or just keep beating on it and blow it up. Either one works fine for me!
Good luck

If the solenoid is getting power when it's supposed to, the LED will turn on indicating there is power going to the VTEC solenoid.
Or you can simply run a 12v power source to the power side of the solenoid and when you hit the power, the solenoid will click indicating that the solenoid is working properly unless the dowel pins were installed incorrectly.
Post a dyno graph, that may help also to see if the car is actually making power.
Who tuned it for you? I live in Ohio and if you tuner isn't going to address your issues then I will steer clear of that shop for when my car is finished.
Are you getting any CELs?

ok well heres the deal, when i first start up and drive my cau no vtec, rev to only 7k

so you must be getting a CEL??? am I right? sounds to me as there is something in your wiring that needs some attention. any minor oil leaks or pressure drops?

im thinking maybe cuz im running ls vtec and have my head oil feed sharing a line with my turbo feed, i was told i should run a designated feed line to the head
VTEC will not engage by just revving the engine. As everyone said, take it to the tuner, or you can find out if vtec is really engaging, hook up a little LED to the power side of the vtec solenoid to the power of the LED and put a ground somewhere.

You can have VTEC engage just by revving the engine as long as u set up your tune accordingly in the settings/options menu.
If vtec only comes on a few times when you first start the car and then shut it off, then i am thinking it might be something with you ECU. did you have a P05 of P06 ecu converted to VTEC? If you have a newer style P05 or P06 ecu, u will need to use the 515 switch (electrical component in the ecu that is part of the vtec conversion in a non vtec ecu). if you use a 505 switch for the conversion, VTEC will work for a couple of times and then it wont any more and you will get a CEL for code 21 or 22 i think.
Take a pic of the inside of ur ecu
but u said VTEC was working fine on the dyno right? and yes u should have a dedicated line for the VTEC source and run a -6 line.
So are you letting the car warm up to normal op temp before trying to beat on it? In my car vtec won't work until you get to normal temp...
I think he got the Jackass part in his name right>>>>
TO the OP where at in ohio are you located. I know quite a few tuners up there. Or if you dont mind telling me who tuned your car.
