seriously, i do hope he either goes out of business or is taught a lesson by screwing over the wrong person.

make no mistake about it, this isn't an isolated incident. Javier knows his products are not up to par and he doesn't do anything to correct the problem or improve the quality of his products. and he continues to sell these shotty products to unsuspecting customers and does everything in his power to avoid them when a problem arises, just so he can push off the responsibility of correcting the problem to the customer.

 

I've had my fair share of dealings with JG. Hell... it was in my SN for three years.

I can honestly say, that back in the day, JG products ruled. I think I got in on the tail end of those "good days." Joel used to help me out. He was a great guy, and knew his stuff.

I think they've just gone big time, and forgotten what got them there in the first place. That's why I WENT to them in the first place... they weren't a huge name yet.

It seems to be happening to all of the people who started out and made it.
DC Sports for example... they used to sell good stuff, now it's ****.

Javier hasn't ever crossed me, and I loved my head, and my block... but they did screw up my order, and I did have a LOT of troubles from that motor. Partly them, partly me, partly bad luck, partly the mechanic working on it. I just hate that bitch Nancy that answers the phone. She's about as useful as lips on a chicken.

Well... I'm trying out KMS now, and I suppose I'll let you guys know how the motor goes. Although, it'll be a higher profile car, and you'll probably be able to see for yourself.

I have heard bad story after bad story... locals here have learned unless they are rich yuppies or hitting the crack pipe ( ).

That is a sad story. I know alot of kids that saved for years to buy blocks from me and I do everything I can for them to make them happy.

If you are sickened and need help, I can give you a super discounted rate, and have Jerry do some building for you, and possibly have that block re-sleeved for you at a discounted rate.

Anything to help you out.

most ALL of us have been shafted by somebody, and I think we should all help the people who got the short end of the stick.

I had javier port my TB to 70mm back in 97. He did an excelent job but now it seems like they have some management/quality issues.

 

i called the better business burough in Cali and the lady there had a bad report on them and there customer service. I highly recommend not doing business with them.

I heard a lot of bad stuff about JG. I wouldn't go to them at all.

 

The last thing I want to do is fill out a **** load of paper work to get my point across. I don't think many people check the BBB to see how a business rates with customers. I will just eliminate the BBB and help you good people in the import scene. Business' don't realize that word of mouth is more powerfull than advertising!

 

I feel for u man! I went through a huge fiasko with JG. Do a search for my user name and u will see the crazyness that accdured. Javier decided to reply here also but he made only one post and never returned. I came down on them hard and I was going to sue and try to shut them down. I called the BBB at the time and JG was filed under a diff address. I made a complaint. The way they got out of reambursing me the money was when I returned the block they said that the block came back to them damaged...that UPS must of dropped it and cracked the block...cough BS...cough BS! So I was reambursed my money from UPS and it took a total of 9 months to get my money back from all the BS.

I strongly recommend if anyone thinks of going to JG to stick their dick in a door jamb and slam the door because that/s how it's goinmg to feel after u get the motor back and u realize that u've never been fucked harder in ur life. I went through GE and I have no complaints, I got my motor back 2 weeks before I expected it and everything is perfect.

 

Jeff is no problem in SF2. I beat him last dynoday.

My drama with JG goes as far back as two years ago when I first got started with this stuff. You can find more info on it on Superhonda.com, or Houston-imports.com. I'm really getting burned out on the JG thing though. Javier is tuff to keep up with.
We'll good luck with your block though. I am currently using a JG Pro Sries II in my '99 Si , and in my brothers '97 Prelude, with no problems yet. Cross your fingers for me though!
