JG = Just Garbage
I urge you to never go to JG engine dynamics! I am having cooling problems now and just replaced my oil pan.
I purchased a block from Javier and it looked well built at the time (probably because the block was painted and clean) but have had noting but problems with it! When I replaced my oil pan due to a leak, I found that the oil pan was just repainted. Not only was is repainted but who ever painted the pan did a **** job because the paint accumulated in a pool of goop inside the pan. The gasket was also a used piece because it was a peice of ****. Who builds a block and replaces the gaskett with a used piece?
I am very disapointed and wish it were posible to get ahold of anyone at JG. I also payed for the better Eagle rods and got the low end model!
What a waste of time and money! I spent alot of time and money to drive to California for the block.
Save yourself a headache and tell other people the JG is not a reputable business!
I will now invest my money and time to more reputable businesses!

I remember a few years back when JG was the premier engine builder, so what happened? I thank my lucky stars every day that I took my business to AEBS

I'm sorry 2.2l Civic took my post as bitching. I am posting to save people headaches! If you feel that I am bitching don't post a responce and the post will past.
I am very upset and feel that I have a responsibility to give valuable advice to anyone who wants to purchase a product from Javier. He blows smoke like the blocks he sells!
My cooling issue cannot be attrubuted to anything but the block. I have a Greddy oil cooler, Pwr radiator, spoon thermostat and high pressure cap, and redline water wetter running in my cooling system. All the lines are in mint condition and a pressure check showed that all was good.
I made sure I checked everything out to make sure I did not make false acusations!
In short, save yourself a headache, time and money. DONT EVERY GO TO JG ENGINE DYNAMICS!

I cant understand how a place can be this bad. Do they want to go out of business? Do they smoke crack? Are they mentally challenged? Did aliens take over Javiers body? It just seems so damn weird that a company can be THIS horrible.

not to side with jg or anything but you could be mistaken that gooey paint stuff on the gasket to be hondabond or sealant. Was the block/head already assembled? or did you just buy the shortblock?

Nope it wasnt honda bond. The gasket was in very very bad shape! It was apparent that the person who painted and installed the oil pan used an old gasket. I only have had the short block for three months.
The reason I went to JG in the first place was because Jackson racing refered me to them and claimed that they had a car that made great power from Javier's shop. I later found out that the person had his block built from another shop, because I did a bit of research.
Oh by the way Keith at Jackson racing is about as good a tech as the bunch from JG. I swear when I try to talk to the guy he is clueless about half the questions I ask.
I think he needs to lay off the

Well this just plain blows large donkey ***** for me. i bought a sleeved JG ZC block a few months ago and it's in the shop right now being bored. I've got 4g's into this friggin motor. If this block is screwed up i'm bookin a flight to Cali and i'll be out for blood...... i have anger managment problems........
