stock is fine but i would recommend some aftermarket vlavetrain for a piece of mind. we put blox A's into and old old b16 head and 4th time our shop employee ripped on it ( its his car) he dropped a valve. simply some setups are just too old to support the ITR's

Id go ahead and get aftermarket valvesprings and Ti reatiners. Many people say that ITR valvetrain isnt even enough for ITR cams. If youre going to spend the money u might as well put aftermarket stuff in.Or u can Run the ITR/portflow spring package. If youre going to be boosting, stiffer valvesprings would be good because boost can hold a valve open with weak springs.(or so ive heard)

Makes sense to me, but I am looking @ it like this.....

Who in the fi forum is going to be running itr cams w/itr vavletrain @ an itr redline? Not many, so I would think that for higher than stock reving engines, you would need a stiffer spring and possibly stronger retainer than what the stock itr comes with even for the itr cams. Just mho.
