Hey guys a friend of mine reciently put a turbocharger on his GsR and changed over to OBD-1. He used an uberdata chip and is currently trouble shooting his setup. One of the problems he's come accross is that the car pulls good untill redline, if less than WOT is used. As soon as he puts it to the boards the car stops revving up. It doesn't miss, it doesn't stall, it doesn't sputter. Just like cruise control it stays at a constant RPM. Any ideas as to what it could be?

 

I'd post over on the uberdata board. I'd also check your TPS - is it throwing any codes? Never done an OBD2 > 1 conversion - does it even through the appropriate codes when it encounters them?

 

You think its an ecu problem?

the site goes down, or the ecu's don't work proper?
