Default Intercooler size

im rebuilding a new setup in my integra for this yr. so my last set up i was only running 230whp on a little bar type intercooler. this yr i wanna push 450-550whp. whould i need to upgrade my intercooler to a bigger one? if so how much bigger? i would be looking at either a mishimoto one or one from go-autoworks. thanks guys

Not that cut and dry. there are many companies that can do that job. It depends upon your budget, type of intercooler and use of the car.

I would shy away from Go-Autoworks. The quality just isn't there for the price.

Think he is referring to the ebay like line if intercoolers they sell...I have used gregs parts in numerous builds, as well as his garrett core intercoolers....has good products.

A few months ago I has them make me 3" charge piping, it looks and fits great.

Good friend has the GT-500 IC and charge pipes, no complaints.

Then I guess I expect too much... If YOU are happy then I guess that is all that matters. You are not going to win them all. If you want more details then PM me, if not, enjoy your stuff.
