ok well my setup will be b18a1, t3 turbo, log style mani, 3inch exhaust blah blah the usual...well my question is, if i run 3 inch intercooler piping would that cause turbo lag or should i used 2.5? also i want to make a 3inch downpipe but i dont think i can, looks like the exhaust port on the turbo is too small, its 3inches right where the bolts go in so could i still?

no need for 3 inch ic pipng if you only got a t3 turbo 600+ WHP i'd CONSIDER runnin 3" but i'd still run 2.5 . you can fit a 3 inch DP on a t3 turbo.
