alright....i just got a set of injectors from a guy on here a while back and i installed them like 2 days ago....i installed them with 10 watt 10 ohm resistors, and a chipped ecu for them and for some reason injector on cylinder 4 is making a ticking sound......like it's partially working or something..........is this normal...cause it also has an erratic idle and apparently phearables basemaps are good enough to have a good idle to tune from. i'm thinking this injector is gonna screw my motor up.........if anyone has 1 spare 450 blue top DSM injector laying around...i could really use it....if this one is screwed up......

 

Are you sure it's just injector 4? Engine bay noises have a way of bouncing around and being hard to trace.

Check it again with a stethescope and see if it's louder than the other three.


Also, basemaps usually don't have a good idle with upgraded injectors. I'm sure tired of hearing about this "phearable" character. You can't just buy a chip that works for your car. "Phearable" is just in the business of producing crap.

 

im sure it;s the injector........it never did this before.....and also, i can put my finger on the injecor and feel it ticking.....i'm pretty sure it's screwed...
